Controversial Zamboanga seo fight is officially reviewed, says ONE boss
ONE Championship chief Chatri Sityodtong announced on Sunday, September 5, that the controversial fight between South Korean Seo Hee Ham and senior atomic weightwoman Denice Zamboanga will be officially reviewed by the Promotion’s Competition Committee.

Sityodtong revealed the development the day after sharing his findings for the historical ONE: Empower all-female map in a Facebook post.
Sityodtong acknowledged that Zamboanga should have won the fight, but also understood why the judges decided to hand the victory over to Seo.
The ONE Honcho stated that it was a very close fight and that the South Korean landed “cleaner and heavier” punches while the Filipino fighter had full control of the takedowns and ground play.
Additionally, Sityodtong gave fans a glimmer of hope, saying he was still looking forward to a possible game with current atomic weight champion Angela Lee.
The atomic weight grand prix champion, the ultimate winner of the tournament, gets a direct chance for the title against Lee, who has ruled the division since 2016.
