KISS PR website positioning Consultants replace web site homeowners on Google Web page Expertise Replace.

Dallas, TX, April 27th, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Google recently announced that the most anticipated update to the Page Experience algorithm will be released from mid-June this year. It is not a one-time rollout, but a step-by-step process that will be completed by the end of August.

This ranking update rewards websites with an excellent user experience. Google emphasized that page experience is one of the many factors they take into account.

“As we said earlier, while this update is designed to highlight pages that provide a great user experience, the page experience remains one of many factors our systems take into account. Given this, websites shouldn’t generally expect any drastic changes because if we take this gradually we can monitor unexpected or unintended problems, “Google wrote on its Google Search Central blog.

What can you expect from the Page Experience Algorithm update?

Google has highlighted and reiterated the page experience signals that will be used to evaluate the ranking of websites after the Page Experience update was introduced.

“As previously announced, page experience updates take into account several page experience signals, including three key Web Vitals metrics: LCP, FID, and CLS (as well as Chrome’s recent fix to CLS).”

Another important change that will come with the introduction of Page Experience is that the AMP format is no longer required for websites to appear on the Google Top Stories carousel.

“The Top Stories carousel feature in Google Search is being updated to include all news content as long as it complies with Google News guidelines. This means that it is no longer necessary to use the AMP format and that each page is independent of their core web vitality “Score” or “Page experience” status can be displayed in the “Top Stories” carousel, “said Google on its blog.

These changes will also be made in the Google News app. Amplified content is expected to support the core experience of the Google News app and news.google.com. Because of these changes, Google will no longer display the AMP badge icon to display AMP content.

“In addition, the AMP badge will no longer appear to display AMP content. You can expect this change to apply to our products when the Page Experience update launches in mid-June. We will continue to test other ways to to achieve this. ” Help identify content with a great page experience and we’ll keep you updated when there’s more to share. ”

With the introduction of the Page Experience update, Google also introduced the Page Experience report in the search console. This report provides website owners with actionable insights to improve their website’s page experience.

“The Page Experience report provides valuable metrics, such as the percentage of URLs with good page experience and search impressions over time, so you can quickly evaluate performance. You can also dive into the components of the Page Experience signal, to get additional insight into the possibilities for improvement, “explained Google on their blog.
