PPC announce trio of candidates for Saskatoon’s nationwide using

SASKATOON – The People’s Party of Canada (PPC) officially launched its election campaign this weekend, presenting its three candidates for the Saskatoon Federal Rides.

Mark Friesen returns for the PPC in Saskatoon-Grasswood after collecting 692 votes (1.4 percent). Guto Penteado is also a recurring contestant vying for Saskatoon University riding. In 2019, Penteado garnered 667 votes (1.42 percent).

Kevin Boychuk is running for the Saskatoon-West Riding PPC, replacing Isaac Hayes as a PPC candidate. Hayes received 775 votes (2 percent) in 2019. Boychuk almost won the race for District 1 in Saskatoon’s 2020 local elections. Boychuk lost to incumbent Darren Hill by just 56 votes.

In the 2019 federal elections, the Conservative Party of Canada captured all 14 seats in Saskatchewan. Canadians will vote on September 20th.
