Bernier and local PPC candidate Greg Galante are expected to attend a rally in Lee Park
The leader of the People’s Party of Canada, Maxime Bernier, will visit North Bay over the long weekend.
The Nipissing-Timiskaming PPC Association announced Monday morning that PPC leader Maxime Bernier is coming to North Bay.
Bernier and local PPC candidate Greg Galante are expected to rally in Lee Park on Sunday August 1st at 1pm.
The event is part of the PPC executives tour of Canada, addressing issues such as bans due to COVID-19 and driving the new party’s agenda, with elections possibly taking place this fall.
Bernier, a former cabinet minister under Stephen Harper, made headlines in June when he was arrested for a public health violation while visiting Manitoba in mid-June.
