search engine optimization startup Botify raises $ 55 million in Sequence C funding

Botify, a New York-based SEO startup, has announced the completion of a $ 55 million Series C funding round to continue generating organic search growth.

The round was led by InfraVia Growth, which also included other companies such as Bpifrance, Eurazeo and Ventech. This brings the startup’s total funding to $ 82.2 million. Nicolas Herschtel, a partner at InfraVia who will join Botify’s board of directors, said of the company’s participation in the round:

“We are very excited to be contributing to Botify’s high growth and innovation and helping them achieve an ambitious product roadmap. We were very impressed with the founders’ vision for the future of search and are confident that Botify, with their unique data model and focus on automation, is well positioned to build on market dynamics and continue to transform the SEO market. “

Botify has built a platform that gives users insights into the entire search funnel, uses artificial intelligence to make recommendations, and automates time-consuming and resource-intensive SEO implementations. The startup has established itself as one of the market leaders in the SEO industry for companies by offering its solutions to renowned brands such as Expedia, L’Oréal, The New York Times, Groupon, Marriott, Conde Nast, Crate & Barrel, Fnac Darty, Vestiaire Collective, and Farfetch. Adrien Menard, Botify Co-Founder and CEO, said:

“The investment follows a year in which online activity accelerated. The pandemic has forced brands in all industries to quickly rethink their investments in digital marketing or accelerate their digital transformations. With the ability to drive sustained traffic, sales, and high ROI, organic search marketing has become a core strategy helping corporate brands navigate this new world. The additional funding will ensure that we can drive our product innovation, especially in the automation of organic search, expand our global presence, especially in APAC, and support the development of our partner ecosystem. “

With more than $ 47.5 billion companies spending on SEO in 2020, the SEO industry represents a great opportunity for the SEO startup aiming to capitalize on the projected 20% growth, that the industry should have in the next 4 years.
